I’ve been meaning to post this darling little number from Drift for a few days. The dress seemed to pair perfectly with Adorkable’s Melancholy poses. This sums up my feelings in a number of ways.

Let It Snow.

I love doing wintry posts because they make me feel all cozy inside, so when I first saw these pants from Spirit Store I knew I wanted to use them for a holiday themed look. I love high waisted pants  and the huge bow on the front makes it stand out even more. They’re available in 6 patterns and standard mesh sizes. Harlow Heslop recently posted a very helpful tutorial on how to create a  fog effect in Photoshop, you can find the details here. I thought I’d take a shot at it and ended up with the photo below. I’m sure I’ll be playing around with this option more to see what else I can come up with!

The Summer Harvest Hunt

The Summer Harvest Hunt is about to begin, September 1st to be exact. The hunt theme is late summer/early fall and will last 3 weeks. Over the next few days I’ll be showing you some of the wonderful goodies in store for you. First of all, this pose prop from Bent really got me in the autumn mood which is quite surprising seeing as it’s still close to 100 degrees where I live. Mirror Me.

I’ve noticed the mirror craze lately and decided to jump on the bandwagon. This is so simple and much easier than using photoshop to create this effect. I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of what Collabor88 has to offer for their 1 year anniversary. I have to say I wanted all of this collection and it was so hard to limit myself! Are You Ready for the Hair Fair?

I’ve been so excited for Hair Fair 2012 to begin! I had a little taste of it today and I tell ya there is so much you are going to be drooling over. In case you haven’t been around Second Life for long, this is an annual event that runs for 2 weeks to raise money for the charity Wigs for Kids. Designers from all over the grid create hundreds of new and beautiful hair for both men and woman alike!  This year the 4 sims to explore are Flower, Garden, Sand and Water. When you teleport in grab yourself a list of stores from the map that include landmarks to each of their designated sims. From past experience most of us know the lag can be quite horrific.
