New Vintage and Vanity Fair!

I have so much newness to bring to you! First of all, Vanity Fair has started and CHANDELLE has released some really cute mesh dresses! I’m showing off my absolute fave. Secondly, JeSyLiLO introduced us to Scarlett for this event and below you can get a closer look at her and the amazing new eyes she designed to accent this picture perfect girl. Pretty Pretty Girl.

Oh my goodness. My Ugly Dorothy released Twiggy and I can’t stop staring at myself. I’m never this vain but she is so beautiful! Whether you love teeth or just a pretty puckered lip, she’s perfect. Secondly, did you hear about the zodiac event? I’ve heard a little and I’m excited to try a few things out. It’s another themed event focused around the signs of the zodiac. It started this month with Leo and this session runs through August 17th. I’m showing off aDORKable’s playful Leo for the event. Last but not least, I’m gonna throw a question out there. I’ve been trying to use Depth of Field in SL for a long time and it never works for me. It looks amazing on the screen and then I take a pic and it vanishes. I have to manually add it in PS. Is my graphics card just shit? Is there a fix for this? Please help!

Hope for Emilia.

Hope for Emilia is a charity event that begins tomorrow. Several designers are coming together to create one or more exclusive items of which 100% of proceeds will be donated to help the people of Emilia, Italy affected by the earthquakes. A quick post to let ya know about some new releases. First of all, a new round of Perfect Wardrobe began on Monday. I found Epic’s digi legs were my favorite from this session. These awesome robotic legs have little flashing equalizers on both sides and are super easy to fit with the resize option. Secondly, Insufferable Dastard’s July gift are these lovely mesh eyes. It’s on!

Fluid’s back with a new rotation and this time around the overall theme is Athletics. I thought I’d break out some b-ball with my boy and see if I could beat him. Unfortunately for me he’s definitely got some height advantage but I tried my hardest! The first pose set we’re using is from Y’s Art&Poses. Included are a set of poseballs along with individual animations for the pose and a basketball prop. Our second photo is a set from *Art Dummy! which includes a sink with 4 adjustable animated poses, a medicine cabinet, a towel and basketball prop. If you’re looking to keep your prims down a bit there’s a non-animated sink as well. This set is 12 prims with the animated sink and 7 prims non-animated. Fluid’s Athletics session will be running through July 31st and also includes the themes Cheerleading, Football and/or Soccer. Keep reading for landmarks!

Hello! A new hunt started today, the Makeup and Tattoo Hunt. There are 40 designers participating and each are gifting at least one item. The hunt began today and runs through August 5th. I’ve decided to show you the gift ombre nails from croire since I love my nails, prim or not. To receive your hunt prize look for a little makeup compact. Need a little help? I’m showing you just one today but both include a hud that allows for metal/jewel color change, resize and the option of shadow/no shadow. Are You Ready for the Hair Fair?

I’ve been so excited for Hair Fair 2012 to begin! I had a little taste of it today and I tell ya there is so much you are going to be drooling over. In case you haven’t been around Second Life for long, this is an annual event that runs for 2 weeks to raise money for the charity Wigs for Kids. Designers from all over the grid create hundreds of new and beautiful hair for both men and woman alike!  This year the 4 sims to explore are Flower, Garden, Sand and Water. When you teleport in grab yourself a list of stores from the map that include landmarks to each of their designated sims. From past experience most of us know the lag can be quite horrific. I’ve got a little surprise for you.

Fluid’s session of “That’s Risque” has almost come to an end but you still have time to pick up some very sexy and provocative poses, props and furniture. Today I was feeling a little more cutesy than sexy although Clutter’s Dancer’s Dressing Room from this session doesn’t leave out sexy or provocative. Included in the set are the rug, dressing screen and salon chair which are loaded with poses. The chair itself has two fun props included for the smoker and drinker in you. The dressing screen has 9 poses including some animated dances to entice that lucky someone. The whole set is a total of 18 prims that may all be used individually. I’m showing you just a few of my favorites but if you’re interested in seeing more be sure to check out Fluid by July 14th.

Just a Taste.

Hi sweeties! It’s me peaking in to show you some goodies. Fluid is packed full of RAWR this session! The theme is “That’s Risque” and I’m showing off a pose from Bouncer Criss of  Bounce This Poses. For the event he designed a burlesque pose stool with 5 poses that are menu-driven and adjustable, always a plus in my book. Oriana Kuhr, owner of Dilly Dolls seemed to know exactly what I needed to go along with my sexy new poses and just released these new mesh boots and corsets in a variety of colors. I’ve also got some freebies for you today. Yay! If you love piercings like I do, the subscribo gift from Ary McAuley of  ivy. is perfect. It’s a very simple piercing, one that I’ve worn in RL in fact and she did it  so incredibly well! One last thing before I wander off again, the nails and ring set I’m wearing are from CHANDELLE and only 1L!
